停不了的

      An unforgetable experience 

I still remember the day when it was 1:47 before dawn on September 21  1999. I was awaked by a big shake. The moment I opened my eyes ; the cabinets fell down at the same time. The house was shaking ,shaking and shaking. It seemed that the shake would never stop. I was so confused that I thought it was a dream. Suddenly,I was pulled out of my bed by my mother . She grasped me all the way to the door. But things kept falling down . Crash,crash. It was not easy to get through . “Oh my Goah.” My father and brother were bleeding and I thought “Is the sky falling down ?Is it the end of the world ? ”

After a few minutes , my parents took us, children, out of the house. We ran and ran. Finally, we reached a safe place and I knew the big shake was an earthquake. Nobody dared to go into the house, because it was a mess. Everybody was waiting for the morning silently. The aftershocks made the night restless and unbearable. Then we put up a tent in a field, building our temporary home. We children had eaten two bowls of noodles, but my parents almost ate nothing. We slept in the comfortable tent, but my parents slept in the car. In that terrible situation, if we got something good, my parents always let us enjoy first.

Suddenly, I grew up, feeling my parents love us very much. Our hearts linked up tighter than before. Although the earthquake caused a lot of damage, I still want to thank God. Because of this disaster, I know how to cherish what I have and let my family become more harmonious and sweeter.
